Update: In order to replace the FEP easier, we redesigned the resin vat from 2021. The original two steel rings with 24 screws was replaced by single steel ring with upgraded predrilled FEP film, less effort to drill and install, no difference on function. If you received the new version resin vat and need to replace the FEP film, our new pre-drilled FEP film is recommended, or you can also use universal FEP film to drill. You can download the drilling template STL file in the description below and slice & print it. NOTE: 1. Please check if the protective films have been peeled off before installation. 2. Please change the bottom lift speed to 65mm/min or 1mm/s. 3. Please download the drilling template for 2021 upgraded resin vat here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4791454 resin tank could be as an additional resin vat that you do not have to keep swapping the resin while you use two or three types on a regular basis. The indents for the securing screws are elongated to fit various machines, such as ELEGOO Mars/Mars C/Mars Pro/Mars 2 Pro, Anycubic Photon/Photon S/Photon Mono/Mono Se/ and QIDI TECH Shadow 5.5 S. Unlike the original vat this is a nice hefty alloy, not plastic. It has two rubber covers to put over the top and bottom of the vat. These have the dual purpose of both a UV blocker, so that any resin stored in the vat will not cure, as well as protection for the FEP so that it will not get scratched when put on a surface.
